Domestic Violence Awareness Month




October is just about to end and it is the month we choose to bring awareness on a national scale to domestic violence and abuse. I have written a few articles this month regarding domestic violence and can't state enough how important this subject is.


Being a survivor myself, I believe it is important to let others know this is a safe space. If you feel that you are in danger or in need or help please do not hesitate to reach out.

You can also obtain help from your local domestic violence hotlines as well as local peer support help groups or safe individuals in your life such as family, friends, counselors etc.


Domestic violence and abuse are nothing to be ashamed of. Whether someone physical, mentally, emotionally or psychologically abuses you, you are not the problem in this equation.
