September is Suicide Awareness Month

And this year, more than years past, I believe it is important to start normalizing the conversation of suicide.

We need to make this conversation something we do not shy away from. Something we cut off when we begin to feel too uncomfortable.

If we are feeling uncomfortable, imagine the feelings on the other side of the conversation.

Remember to be kind and be open-some struggles are not always the easiest to talk about.
